A dear friend of mine gave me a stack of blocks her mother had cross-stitched. There were 19 complete blocks and 1 that still needed attention.
I haven’t cross-stitched since I was a little girl, but I spent most of March sewing the blocks that my friend’s mother had started so many years ago.
It’s May, and I’ve only just now sewn the blocks into rows. I’ve put a small green border between the blocks to mimic the green frame inside the block.
Once I sew the rows together, I’m planning on hand-quilting this beauty.
Thank you, Sharon, for the opportunity to work with these beautiful blocks.
I’ll update with progress as I go.
